Hello, loyal Theater Dogs readers.
First, I’d like to thank you for bothering to show up here in the first place. I’m so grateful (and have been since the blog started in August, 2006) for your support. I love writing this blog, and I hope you’ve enjoyed reading it.
That said, Theater Dogs is going on a bit of hiatus. I’m taking a new job at the Sacramento Bee (as an editor, not a writer), so I’ll need some time to figure out what to do with the ol’ blog and see if I can reconfigure it in a way that makes any sense to me or to you.

Please work with Jim Carnes and Marcus Crowder – as they seem to be part of the small minority in this town steadfastly behind the arts. I grew up performing in the Bay (at BBBay, AMTSJ, etc.) and loved the community support (especially from papers – though, that was before the invention of the “blog” and bloggers!) and it’s unfortunate that we have such talent up here with very few bragging about it. 
Hope you can figure out a way to help us all out!!! We’d appreciate it! Make a big announcement when you come back into the blogosphere, ok? xoxo
