If you’re going to be in New York March 7 through 10, you might want to dop by the New York Philharmonic’s semi-staged concert version of My Fair Lady.
Kelsey Grammer (TV’s Dr. Frasier Crane) will be Professor Henry Higgins and Kelli O’Hara (late of The Pajama Game and The Light in the Piazza) is Eliza Doolittle. Charles Kimbrough (“Murphy Brown”) is Col. Pickering and Brian Dennehy is Alfred Doolittle. In a particularly nice piece of casting, Marni Nixon, who provided the singing voice for Audrey Hepburn in the movie, play’s Henry’s mother, Mrs. Higgins.
