  1. My only regret is that it’s unlikely that both Amy and Deanna can win. And they both really should. If I were the betting sort, my money would be on Deanna, but they are both magnificent.

    I also wouldn’t have minded seeing featured actor nods for either Jeff Perry or Fran Guinan for “August,” but I’m sure the competition is tough.

    Also, the awards are on Father’s Day this year, which will be bittersweet if Tracy Letts wins, given that his father, the original Beverly Weston, passed away earlier this year from cancer.
